Skytrax – the leading ranking organization in the aviation industry, announces the best airports for 2018. Check out the list of top 10 airports and get to know if your favorite airport has been listed or not.

1. Singapore Changi Airport, Singapore

Singapore Changi Airport sets a new record of receiving the World’s Best Airport by Skytrax for six times continuously since 2013. The Changi Airport connects more than 200 destinations worldwide and operates an average of 5000 arrival and departures per week.

2. Incheon International Airport, South Korea

Incheon International Airport is South Korea’s largest airport and is the second best airport in the world. Besides clinching second position as the World’s Best Airport, Incheon International Airport also was recognized for its service and conferred with World’s Best Airport Staff award for 2018.

3. Haneda International Airport, Japan

Haneda International Airport stands in the third rank of the best airports in the world. Boasting of both domestic and international terminals, Haneda International Airport in Tokyo performs a very important role. It is developing Japan as a tourism-oriented nation. The airport is also voted as the World’s Cleanest Airport and the World Best Domestic Airport.

4. Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong

Hong Kong bagged the fourth position in the list of the World’s Best Airports. The airport serves more than 100 airlines and operates flights to more than 180 destinations. Hong Kong International Airport is the former winner of the Airport of the Year title for multiple times at the World Airport Awards.

5. Hamad International Airport, Qatar

Hamad International Airport is at No.5. The airport is widely regarded as the most architecturally significant terminal complex and most luxurious airport in the world. The terminals of the airport can accommodate more than 30 million passengers annually. With state-of-the-art facilities, the Hamad International Airport also got thumps up as the Best Airport in the Middle East 2018.

6. Munich Airport, Germany

Munich Airport stood in the sixth position in the list of World’s Best Airports. Being the second busiest airport in Germany, Munich Airport has convenient connections to destinations across the world. With more than 150 retail stores and over 50 eating and drinking places, the airport looks like a glitzy city center.

7. Chubu Centrair International Airport, Japan

The airport is built on the Ise Bay an artificial island of the Tokoname City. It took seventh place on the commendable list. Chubu Centrair International Airport also known as Centrair was also named as World’s Best Regional Airport in 2018. Centrair is considered as the main international gateway for Japan and boasts of a number of duty-free shops, restaurants, and retail shops to make everyone’s trip an enjoyable one.

8. London Heathrow Airport, England

London Heathrow Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world and it stands at the eighth spot on the list. The airport caters to more than 80 airlines per day, offering passengers convenient travel to a number of destinations across the world. The World’s Best Airport Terminal 2018  also goes to London Heathrow Airport.

9. Zurich Airport, Switzerland

Zurich Airport or Kloten Airport is the largest airport of Switzerland located 8 miles away from the north of central Zürich. The Zurich Airport ranks ninth position on the list. The airport’s observation decks B and E are the best distraction for passengers, as they can watch spectacular views of aircraft takeoffs and landings.

10. Frankfurt Airport, Germany

Serving 97 airlines and 311 destinations, Frankfurt Airport is the tenth best airport in the world by Skytrax. Frankfurt Airport is the largest airport in Germany which features the Airport City Mall, Sheraton Hotel & Conference Centre, Hilton Hotels and much more facilities. The German airport has two terminals and is awaiting the opening of third terminal soon.
