Ice Sculpture Festival, Bruges, Belgium

Get ready to enter into the world of creativity. Visit the world’s first Digital Ice Art Museum in Bruges, Belgium. The traditional festival started on 24 November 2018 and would conclude on 6th January 2019.

Artists from all over the world have created an astonishing world (ice museum). Marvel at the huge Digital Ice Palace with 100 video projections that light up ice sculpture panoramas that reach not less than 4 meters. This ice palace is temporarily built in hermetically isolated Icebox that occupies more than 1.000 square meters.

Amsterdam Light Festival, The Netherlands

The 7th edition of the festival themed “The Medium is the Message” will take place from 29th November 2018 until 20 January 2019. Fête du Citron, France

There’s no better way to banish the winter blues than celebrating the colorful festival of lemons in the south of France. People of Menton have been celebrating the Fête du Citron or Lemon Festival since 1928.

Head to Menton – the beautiful and picturesque town of French Riveria and marvel at the colorful parades and impressive sculptures. Every year the festival of lemon uses 120 tonnes of citrus fruit to create gigantic structures and floats. Celebrate the next edition of Lemon Festival from 16th February until 3rd March 2019.

Up Helly Aa, Lerwick, Scotland

Up Helly Aa is one of the largest and spectacular fire festivals in Europe that takes places on the last Tuesday of January every year at Lerwick – the main port of the Shetland Islands in Scotland. The festival is about celebration of Shetland Islands’ majestic Viking heritage. Up Helly Aa involves a series of torch-lit procession that reaches up to 1,000 islanders dressed in traditional costumes throwing burning torches into a Viking longship and watching it burn.
