Situated in the midway between Nizami and 28 May Metro Station, Taza Bazaar is the largest bazaar in Baku. It has six entrances. This 80-year old bazaar provides a great choice of fresh sturgeon, seafood, vegetables, spices, jams, Beluga caviar, etc. Stroll around and experience the authentic side of the city.

Timings: Daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Yashil Bazaar

Yashil BazaarKnown as Green Market, Yashil Bazaar offers an authentic Azerbaijani experience. If you want to eat Azeri delicatessen, you must head to the Yashil Bazaar since you are unlikely to find them in supermarkets. Green market is a favorite choice for locals. You can find fresh and organic vegetables and fruits that are brought from every corner of the country. The bazaar is famous for dried fruits like figs, apricots, grenade seeds, oranges etc. Besides these, Green Market is great place to find caviar, sturgeons, saffron, and much more.

It’s better to visit the market in the morning if you want to buy fresh goods while the evening is the best time if you wish to observe. Don’t forget to bargain to save a little money for you.
