With its establishment in 1675, by Canon Justino de Neve, the Hospital de los Venerables was developed to take care of elderly and infirm priests. The Hospital de los Venerables is one of Seville's lovely examples of civility in Baroque architecture and peacefulness in cultural treasure. Its stylish red and white facade, peaceful inner courtyard with a central fountain, and rich decorations of the chapel represent spiritual peace and artistic glory. This historic building now serves as an art and cultural centre.
