National Theatre of Bahrain

The National Theatre of Bahrain is the third-largest theatre in the Middle East. It was built to encourage and promote Bahrain's cultural heritage. It was officially opened on November 12, 2012. It is spread around 11,869 square meters. This theatre includes one main auditorium of 1,001 seating capacity and one studio theatre of 150 seating capacity. In addition, it offers a library, a cafeteria and gift shops. Its architectural construction blends traditional Bahraini design and modern brilliance. It looks like a floating building on water. Many international concerts, ballet performances, cultural and art festivals are hosted here frequently.
