Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic Center is also known as AI-Fateh Grand Mosque. It is located in Manama, Bahrain. Constructed as a monumental symbol of Bahrain’s Islamic culture and heritage. It was built in 1988 by the late Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa. It has a main mosque, Islamic library, prayer hall and community engagement hall. The library was established in 2006, contains nearly 7,000 books, with a collection of rare manuscripts, Islamic jurisprudence texts, and historical volumes. It features a 60-ton fiberglass dome, as it is one of the largest in the world and the mosque’s interior showcases Italian marble flooring, Indian teakwood doors, and Austrian-made chandeliers, with walls painted in intricate Kufic calligraphy.
