Pont Alexandre III stands on the majestic river Seine. It is widely regarded as the most ornate and extravagant bridge. Classified as the ‘French Monument Historique,’ the bridge is built in the beaux-arts style and has exuberant nymphs and cherubs.

Sheikh Zayed Bridge, UAE

As opposed to the classic Pont Alexandre III bridge, Sheikh Zayed Bridge is modern yet intricate. It is garnered popularity due to its dramatic lighting. Built by renowned architect Zahid Hadid, the 2700-feet-long bridge makes a statement with its dramatic arches.

Kintai Bridge, Japan

The stunning Kintai Bridge is located in Yamaguchi prefecture of Japan and is built across river Nishiki. The original bridge was constructed without using metal nails, and with the perfect fitting of wooden parts, however, the current structure has undergone many modifications since then. The bridge offers breathtaking views of the surrounding and especially during the cherry blossom season.

The Helix Bridge, Singapore

Another bridge which exemplifies the architectural feats achieved by modern construction techniques. The bridge built in the shape of a human DNA provides a walkway across the Singapore River. The bridge is lit in red and green color in the night denoting two significant groups of components that make the DNA.

Khaju Bridge, Iran

This historical bridge over Zayanderud is an epitome of Persian architecture. The intricate carvings look even more spectacular when lit at night.

Dragon bridge over the River Hàn has an astonishing and certainly noteworthy design. The ‘cherry-on-top’ is that the beautiful dragon can breathe fire or water.
